Outline:

MODULE I : Fundamental Competencies

•    Learning Objectives:
Following completion of this module, participants will be able to describe distinctive types of motivation; define confidence and how to both develop and maintain it; understand the basics of visualization; and will have knowledge of the theoretical framework for resilience.

MODULE II : Self-Regulation Competencies

•    Learning Objectives:
Following completion of this module, participants will have a general understanding of what self-awareness is (for both themselves and their clients); learn the basics of stress and how to cope; have a greater understanding of ideal performance states; and be able to describe the concepts behind focus and attention.

MODULE III : Interpersonal Competencies

•    Learning Objectives:
Following completion of this module, participants will have a greater understanding of the foundations of genuine working relationships, appropriate leadership styles, the principals of successful teamwork, and how to model and partake in suitable communication styles. Also included in this module is a succinct outline of both goal setting and debriefing.
